Gala Night & DREAM 1.0 Launch

The 2025 MKUMSA Gala lived up to expectations as medical students gathered at Diamond Plaza, Nairobi, to celebrate the theme "Where Culture Inspires Cure: Advancing Africa's Medical Vision." The evening blended culture, brilliance and celebration while marking the official launch of DREAM 1.0, an innovation platform by the Faculty of Medicine in partnership with Dafra Pharma. DREAM 1.0 aims to nurture creativity, research and innovation among undergraduate students. MKU, through MKUMSA, hosted the pilot phase, featuring 20 contestants with outstanding healthcare innovations. The winners Three winners were awarded cash prizes and tuition scholarships: - 1st Place: Humphrey Kibe - 2nd Place: Sally Muthoni Mungai - 3rd Place: Everlyn Syombua Munyao Featured in the Mount Kenya University 2025 graduation handbook.
